Play First, Learn by Doing

Gamified, hands‑on experiences that bring energy, sustainability, and future careers to life — delivered directly into schools.

The Net:Zed Mobile Classroom brings fun‑first, gamified learning directly into schools, giving students an engaging way to explore modern energy and sustainability.

Through play, problem‑solving, and decision‑making, students build understanding of how energy systems are evolving and how these changes connect to real opportunities in their local region.

Each activation builds awareness of local career pathways linked to the energy transition — including renewable energy, decarbonisation across business and industry, infrastructure, technology, and other emerging sectors.

Delivered as a place‑based experience, the Mobile Classroom also doubles as a professional learning lab for teachers, supporting capability‑building alongside student engagement.

Why It Matters

Energy transition concepts are complex, fast moving, and often disconnected from young people’s lived experience.

The Mobile Classroom exists to:

  • Make energy systems visible and tangible
  • Turn abstract ideas into experiences students can feel and remember
  • Create genuine excitement about future skills and careers
  • Support communities to build understanding and confidence during transition

By bringing the experience to schools — rather than expecting schools or students to travel — the Mobile Classroom removes access barriers and ensures broad, inclusive participation.
