Free Classroom Resources and Activities

Engage students in meaningful Net Zero discussions and learning across all Key Learning Areas and Stages.

Our To Commitment You

We’re excited to launch Net Z(ed) in February 2025! Alongside our partners and collaborators, we’re building a growing repository of free classroom resources, lessons, activities, and programs designed to elevate Net Zero learning across all K-12 syllabus areas.

Our lesson activation process is collaborative—we involve teachers early, from industry-classroom discussions to piloting and testing curated learning experiences, ensuring continuous feedback and improvement.

As we expand this resource hub, stay connected for opportunities to contribute to program development, share your areas of interest, and let us know what resources you’d like prioritized for your KLA and stage. We’re here to listen and support your teaching journey.

“Decarbonising our economy—going ‘Net Zero’—is not just about STEM. Bringing the Net Zero story to life in all classrooms, English, Humanities, Arts, and Creative Industries, alongside STEM, is crucial for Australia’s long-term success. It is the storytellers, artists, historians, budding philosophers, geographers, and human centric thinkers working with STEM teams that will lead, shape and deliver Australia’s Net Zero future. Everyone has a role to play — and that’s why Net Z(ed) learning resources are for everyone.”

Duncan Burck, Creator of Net Z(ed) and Advocate, for all Teachers.
